After being injured by police firing near the Mirpur-10 Roundabout, Tamim was initially taken to Al-Hilal Private Hospital. As his condition deteriorated, he was transferred to Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, where he tragically breathed his last.

Tamim was the second child of his family, born to father Abdul Mannan and mother Razia Sultana. His father and elder brother work as car mechanics, while his younger brother is just 5 years old. As the son of a low-income family, Tamim brought hope to his parents by securing a place in the mathematics department at Jagannath University. His untimely death has shattered all the hopes his parents had for a brighter future.
